NIMT Online PGDM Courses In Marketing & Finance

PGDM from National Institute of Management and Technology is offered by the distance education branch of NIMT named edX. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management is not an MBA degree since NIMT is an autonomous and independent body which means it is not affiliated to any University. The course curriculum is intensively designed to meet the demands of the challenging environment. The curriculum is updated on a regular basis and hence the courses are more industry relevant in comparison to the regular MBA courses.

National Institute of Management and Technology offers nine specialisations in its PGDM. The diploma is approved by University Grants Commissions and the examinations are held in all the major cities of the country. The distance education branch of NIMT also provides books for preparation and the price is included in the course fee. All the courses are delivered by online self paced content and live sessions to provide an in-depth understanding of the course.

Procedure of Examination:

The examinations for all the PGDM courses are held twice in a year in the month of September and March. Students can sit for an examination in any one of the registered information centre. The end of the semester examination will test a student’s analytical and theory based conceptual knowledge through the means of essay type questions. They will attempt problem solving exercise.
About the evaluation system, the students should have secured at least 40 percent in each of the end of semester examination while the overall pass percentage of a subject stands at 45 percent. Grades will be provided according to the marks obtained.

The students can avail grace marks in at most three subjects and at least in one subject. In an academic year, a student can get 3 marks under grace in about two modules. After the declaration of the ESE results, a provisional mark sheet will be issued and the final mark sheet will be given to the students after the results are declared which will include the assignment marks at the end of the academic session.

Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Management 

PGDM in Financial Management is a two year full time program offered by the distance education branch of NIMT. It is and UGC,DEB and AICTE approved program. The course structure is meant to give you an insight and help you attain expertise in the financial records and statements of the company. The program employs research and analytical skills which are distributed by the Advanced Corporate Reporting module. The students will also gain knowledge about the application of management accounting and performance analysing methods which are effectively applied to real-life companies. Development of a strategic and comprehensive vantage point in the arena of financial management is the primary objective of the program.

With a duration of six months each, the course is bifurcated into four semesters. The course can be completed in a minimum of two year duration and maximum in three years.

Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management PGDM Marketing Management

The program is again offered by NIMT, Greater Noida and comes under the distance education branch of edX. The post graduate diploma in Marketing Management is a two year full time program which is approved by AICTE, UGC and DEB approved program. To globally learn expertise in the field of marketing management, the PGDM course helps the students to develop their skills and capabilities to match up to the marketing needs. The program inculcates professional insights and strengthens the decision making skill in the students to help them develop their personality in a professional sense. It also helps the students hone their managerial skills. The emphasis is laid on concept based and reasoning backed analytical study which empowers the students to attain insights into the business domain. Bharathiar University Distance Education: Admission Process 2016

University will not grant you admission unless you do not match the eligibility criteria of particular programme. Once your qualifications match with the University’s eligibility criteria then you have to present all of your credentials in front of provisional section of the University for getting admission.
After verification of documents & eligibility of the candidate for admission, Bharathiar University will give an intimation letter of provisional admission to the student this letter includes:
  1. The payment schedule and required amount of fee payable by the student at the time of admission.
  2. List of original documents to be submitted by the student for verification purpose and,
  3. After verification authorities will return these documents to the student.
After this, student will receive a communication from the provisional selection and then, he/she has to send all the required documents along with tuition fees to the university. After checking the original certificates, University authorities will send you an enrolment letter of confirmation and it means your admission process has completed.

By Post: if you want to purchase Prospectus (or) Application Form by post for any program. You have to send a Demand Draft for Rs. 150/- in favour of "The Director, PGRR-Center of Distance Education of Osmania University, payable at Hyderabad along with a self addressed 11” x 5” size envelope to get the Prospectus.

In Person: Application form can also be obtained by submitting a Demand Draft (D.D) of Rs.100/-, in person at Sales counter or other banks. (Details are available on University’s website)
Download from the website: Students can also download Prospectus (or) Application Form from the Distance Education Website of Osmania University but after downloading the Prospectus they have to submit this form along with a Demand Draft of Rs.100/- to complete the admission process.

  2. Four copies of Passport size color photographs.
  3. For Undergraduate Courses 10th and 10+2 certificates and for Postgraduate Courses S.S.C., Intermediate and BA / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.E. / B.Tech. Degree Certificate both Original and one attested Xerox copy, (Originals copies of certificates will be returned right after admission).
  4. Transfer Certificate from the College/University last studied. (Not Returnable)
  5. In case of SC/ST/OBC students, they have to enclose a Photostat copy of Caste certificate as well and for Physically Handicapped (PHC) students, they should also enclose a photo copy of PH-Certificate with the Application Form.
  6. One 14" x 10" (with Rs.50/-affixed) size self-addressed Envelope to be returned the original certificates, (for those students who are applying through post).

The draft must be drawn in favour of “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University Chennai"& payable at Chennai.
    2. Candidates can also get Application form by post as well. For this, they have to send a requisition letter and a demand draft of Rs.700 drawn as same mentioned above.
    3. Candidates can download the Application Form from the Anna University official website as well and after filling required fields carefully they have to send this application form along with demand draft of Rs. 650/- to the same address mentioned as above.

    Admission Procedure and Selection Process:

    Admission Procedure

    1. Those Candidates will be selected by the management who will qualify the Anna University Entrance Test (DEET); and would be called for the admission.
    2. Center for Distance Education of Anna University will prepare a rank list based on the marks obtain in the DEET and will make admissions on the rank obtained in the DEET.
    3. On the other hand, Center for Distance Education of Anna University will also prepared a separate rank list for TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) candidates based on TANCET score and University also consider these candidates’ score for the admission as per their rank against the seats.
    4. Selection of the candidates is entirely based on the marks obtained in the both Entrance Tests.

    Candidates should have possessed following eligibility criteria defined by IGNOU for B.Ed Programme:

    1. A Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Degree from a Recognize University in any discipline with 50% of marks.
                                                               
    And

    2. Years full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate teacher in a primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school and candidate should be in service at the time of submitting application form & producing the original documents at the Regional Centre. The certificate of experience should be issued by the Principal or Headmaster/ Headmistress only.

    In Case of reservation, for SC/ST/O.B.C (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and other categories shall be done as per Central Government rules.

    Along with application form you have to enclose some required documents such as: Photocopies of Degrees/Certificates showing your previous educational qualifications and Date of Birth. Students are advised don’t send the original documents with the Application Form.

    Documents required for the programme are as follows:

     A recent colored passport size photograph
     Xerox or Photostat Copy of Degrees/Certificates showing Date of Birth of the candidate.
     Xerox or Photostat Copies of Degrees/Certificates of Educational Qualifications.
     Rejection of Application Form: If applicant eligibility does not match with the program’s Eligibility Criteria, Admission Authorities will return the Application Form along with all enclosures and also returned the amount after deducting Rs. 500. However, Candidate can apply again if he/she satisfies the eligibility criteria afterwards.

    Applicants are advised to fill up the Application Form that is available in the Prospectus or as downloaded.
    All columns are mandatory to be filled in by the candidates in the application form except fields which are not application marked them N.A (Not allowed).
    Following documents, attested (self and competent authority i.e. a Notary or Gazetted Officer or any authorised person prescribed by the university) with stamp/seal, should be submitted by the applicant at the time of admission :
    1.Photocopy/Xerox of Matriculation (10th) or equivalent certificate bearing proof to D.O.B.
